The lift is in the lowered position, as when I received it.so I'm not sure of the connection to the other side at this point. I wasn't hearing any escaping air from underneath the lift, such as I would expect if there was a hole in the bellows.making me wonder if there is some sort of blockage in the air hose to the bellows connection.

This particular Handy lift uses a bellows instead of an air piston to raise the lift. I bypassed the foot pedal this morning before heading off to work and connected directly to a compressor.nothing. View attachment 143466 View attachment 143467 View attachment 143468 If anyone can set me on the correct path, that would be great.hate to have to wait until Monday to call Handy. There are a few other connections that came with what I assume to be debris filters. I swapped the stuff around.that didn't do it. I searched for some stuff online and didn't really find much, although there was one youtube video that showed the lift and the guy's connection from the pedal to the lift was in the center position where I had connected my compressor. Got no movement when I depressed the pedal on the one side.if I depressed the pedal on the opposite side (which I assume is for lower the lift), I hear air escaping. One open connection on the pedal, which is where I initially connected my compressor. The foot pedal I have is a newer style, I believe, and arrived with the pedal connected to the lift. The installation instructions are of no help.

Tonight I tried to hook up the compressor so I could lift the table and bolt down the wheel vise. followed by the wheel vise which was inadvertently left out of the initial shipment. I recently took delivery of a Handy S.A.M.
